Lemon Prune Loaf

- 1 pkg. buttercream lemon frosting mix shopping list
- 1and 3/4 cup flour shopping list
- 1 teas.baking powder shopping list
- 1 teas.soda shopping list
- 1/2 teas.salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup cooking oil shopping list
- 1 (12oz)can prune cake and pastry filling (or)you may use 2(4 3/4oz) jars strained baby food prunes for the pastry filling--but-- Increase the flour to 2 cups if you use the baby food prunes. shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts shopping list
How to make it
- Grease and flour a 9by5 pan
- In large bowl,combine 1 and1/4 cups firmly packed dry frosting mix
- flour,baking powder,soda,salt,eggs,oil and prune filling or baby prunes
- Stir until well blended
- Fold in walnuts and graham cracker crumbs
- Bake at 350 degree for 60 to70 minutes until the top springs back when lightly touched.
- Remove from pan
- While still warm frost with glaze
- Glaze:Combine the remaining dry frosting mix and about 1/4 cup cream,beat until smooth.
