How to make it

  • Cook chicken and allow to cool
  • Use broth from chicken stock to cook rice and broccoli in
  • Add rice slowly to hot broth as it will tend to overflow (remove from heat)
  • Add salt to rice for cooking
  • Mix all ingredients together except cheese
  • Add 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper and 1/2 tsp Lawrys seasoning salt
  • Pour into casserole dish and top with shredded cheese
  • Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes
