Baked Strawberry Sponge Pudding Recipe
An easy homemade dessert can be used with different fruits peeled apples peaches apicots etc. and can be added to the mix or placed on top of the cake before baking

Ingredients
  • 1 lbs castor sugar
  • 1 lbs butter
  • 1 1/4 lbs self raising flour
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 tea spoons of vannilla essence
  • 1/2 lbs of fresh stawberries washed and cut into quarters or a fresh fruit of your choice use your imagination

Directions
  1. In alarge mixing bowl beat the butter and sugar until its light and fluffy.
  2. next add half the flour and half the eggs and beat until it has been absorbed into the mixture. then repeat the process with thy rest of the eggs and flour and beat again until the mixture has been absorbed
  3. next add the essence along with the strawberries and fold into the mixture or you can arrange them ina pattern on top of the cake before baking.
  4. Add your cake mix to a greased or lined 12 inch round cake tin and level off .Bake at 160 degrees celcius (355 F)for 90 min
  5. To check the the cake is cooked poke the cake with a skewer and if it comes out dry it done.
