Baked Strawberry Sponge Pudding

- 1 lbs castor sugar shopping list
- 1 lbs butter shopping list
- 1 1/4 lbs self raising flour shopping list
- 8 large eggs shopping list
- 2 tea spoons of vannilla essence shopping list
- 1/2 lbs of fresh stawberries washed and cut into quarters or a fresh fruit of your choice use your imagination shopping list
How to make it
- In alarge mixing bowl beat the butter and sugar until its light and fluffy.
- next add half the flour and half the eggs and beat until it has been absorbed into the mixture. then repeat the process with thy rest of the eggs and flour and beat again until the mixture has been absorbed
- next add the essence along with the strawberries and fold into the mixture or you can arrange them ina pattern on top of the cake before baking.
- Add your cake mix to a greased or lined 12 inch round cake tin and level off .Bake at 160 degrees celcius (355 F)for 90 min
- To check the the cake is cooked poke the cake with a skewer and if it comes out dry it done.
