- 1 LARGE sweet onion CHOPPED shopping list
- 1/4 CUP butter shopping list
- 1 TABLESPOON -flour shopping list
- 1 TABLESPOON -curry shopping list
- 2 TABLESPOONS flaked coconut shopping list
- 2 QUARTS chicken broth shopping list
- 1 CUP SMOOTH -PEANUT- butter shopping list
- 1/4 CUP CHRISTIAN BROS ( OR OTHER BRAND) dry sherry shopping list
- 1/2 CUP sour cream shopping list
- CHOPPED MACADAMIAS OR peanuts shopping list
How to make it
- IN A 3 QUART SAUCE PAN SAUTE ONION IN BUTTER UNTIL LIMP.
- STIR IN FLOUR, CURRY POWDER,COCONUT, AND 1 CUP OF THE CHICKEN BROTH.
- BRING TO A BOIL; STIRRING CONSTANTLY.
- POUR MIXTURE INTO THE BLENDER; ADD PEANUT BUTTER, BLEND UNTIL SMOOTH,RETURN MIXTURE TO SAUCEPAN.
- ADD REMAINING CHICKEN BROTH AND SHERRY.
- SIMMER 5 TO 10 MINUTES STIRRING UNTIL HOT DO NOT BOIL THIS......
- JUST BEFORE SERVING WHISK IN SOUR CREAM TO BLEND.......
- SERVE WITH DUSTED CURRY POWDER ON TOP AND GARNISH WITH A DOLLOP OF SOUR CREAM AND ADD NUTS DONT STIR THIS .
- MAKES 6 TO 8 SERVINGS
