Mark Bittmans Sorta Cabbage And Spaghetti Recipe
This is my spin on a Mark Bittman recipe. I have served it to people who do not like anchovies, but they adore this recipe!

Ingredients
  • 4 T olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 oz canned anchovies, undrained
  • 1 t red pepper flakes
  • 1 16-oz bag angel hair shredded cabbage
  • 8 oz spaghettini, cooked and drained

Directions
  1. In a large skillet, combine the olive oil, garlic, and anchovies. Turn the heat to medium low and cook slowly, stirring frequently, until the anchovies "dissolve."
  2. Add the red pepper flakes and stir for 30 seconds.
  3. Add the cabbage and cook until very tender.
  4. Add the cooked pasta and heat through until well combined.
