Nice blend of Cheese and Pineapple adds a twist to the traditional Cheeseball

Ingredients
  • 2 pkgs cream cheese ( softened)
  • 1 can 8 oz. crushed pineapple ( drained)
  • 2 C finely chopped Pecans ( or walnuts) divided
  • 1/4 C finely chopped green pepper
  • 2 tbs. finely chopped onion
  • 1 tbs. seasoned salt

Directions
  1. In mixer bowl beat cream cheese until smooth
  2. add pineapple, 1 cup of nuts, green pepper, onion and salt mix well.
  3. cover and chill 1 hr.
  4. divide mixture in half. shape into 2 balls and roll in nuts
  5. cover and chill several hours
  6. serve with crackers
