This is a great chocolatey snack! Especially for the Chocolate/Peanut Butter lovers in the world! Has a great mixture of saltiness from the chex mix but leaves you with the sweet aftertaste of chocolate and peanut butter
Ingredients
- 9 cups chex cereal shopping list
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1/2 cup peanut butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar shopping list
- you can use any variety of chex cereal, and for a healthier version shopping list
- try with Wheat Chex, dark chocolate and a lowfat peanut butter shopping list
How to make it
- Into large bowl, measure cereal and set aside.
- In 1-quart saucepan, heat chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter over low heat, stirring frequently, until melted.
- Remove from heat
- Pour mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated.
- Pour into a large paper bag (like one from grocery store)
- Add powdered sugar. fold over bag and shake until well coated.
- Spread onto waxed paper to cool. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
