Another Rick Hamby invention. (Rachel Ray's term for half stew, half soup.)

Ingredients
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 medium Onion, Chopped (~3/4 cup)
  • 1 can Mushroom Bits & Pieces
  • 1 pkg. McCormick Au Jus Mix
  • 2 cups dry extra-wide Krinkly Egg Noodles.
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 3 cups Water
  • 1-10.5 oz.can Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1 cup (8 oz. tub) Sour Cream

Directions
  1. - Brown hamburger with onion and garlic.
  2. - Add mushroom pieces, au jus mix, noodles and water.
  3. - Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. - Bring to boil and cook 10 minutes.
  5. - Add soup and sour cream.
  6. - Simmer 5 minutes more, until reheats.
