This is an old family favorite.

Ingredients
  • 3 lbs. Ham Loaf Mix (available at most grocery stores)
  • 3 c. Fresh Bread Crumbs
  • 2 Eggs (beaten)
  • 1-1/4 c. Milk
  • Glaze
  • 1-1/2 c. Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. White Vinegar

Directions
  1. Pre-heat oven to 275 deg.
  2. In a blender or food processor tear up about 5 slices bread, pulse until you have fine crumbs.
  3. Place the Ham Loaf Mix, Bread Crumbs, Eggs and Milk in a large bowl and mix well with hands.
  4. Turn into a large roaster pan and shape into loaf.
  5. In a small saucepan combine the Brown Sugar, Water and Vinegar. Heat over med-high heat till boiling.
  6. Pour glaze over Ham Loaf and cover. Bake covered for 1-1/2 hours, then remove cover and bake for an additional 1/2 hour.
  7. Let stand about 5 minutes before serving.
