How to make it

  • Combine wine, sugar, cinnamon, peppercorns, and zest in a sauce pot and reduce to med-high heat to a syrup 12-15 min. stirring as to not burn
  • Remove all whole ingrediants from pot with a slotted spoon, or pour into a bowl through a collander, and return to pot..
  • Discard whole ingrediants.
  • Add peach halves and turn to coat with the sauce.
  • Serve over ice cream.
  • I like crunch to anything I eat, so I crumble corn flakes over the top!
  • place a mint leaf on each for garnish, and you will be in ice cream heaven!!
