baked vegetables with white sauce

- beans 1 cup shopping list
- carrots 1/2 cup shopping list
- peas 1/2 cup shopping list
- baby corn 1 cup shopping list
- broccoli 1/2 cup (optional) shopping list
- potatoes 1/2 cup (optional) shopping list
- butter 1tbsp shopping list
- Refined wheat flour (Maida) 2 tbsp shopping list
- milk 1 cup shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- sugar 1 tsp shopping list
- cinnamon powder shopping list
- Grated cheddar cheese shopping list
How to make it
- chop vegetables in medium size
- half cook the veggies with salt and sugar on the stove top or microwave
- for the white sauce:
- heat butter on medium low heat.
- add refined wheat flour and fry till you get the cooked smell (don't let it get pink or brown )
- let it cool for sometime
- add the milk and let the mixture boil once or till it seems a little thick
- remove off the flame
- when it cools add cinnamon powder
- white sauce is ready
- put the vegetables in a baking dish
- pour the white sauce over it
- bake this on 300* F or 150* C for 10-15 mins
- put the grated cheese and bake till the cheese melts
- serve hot
