This pesto is a favorite of mine. Bär Lauch (Allium ursinum)is also known as Bears Garlic,and Ramsom. It grows wild and is Native to Western and Central Europe. I particularly like it because of its strong garlic flavor, that doesn't seem to leave you with garlic breath! Read more ! See less
Ingredients
- A good sized bunch, (shopping bag full) depending how much you want to pick!! of Bär Lauch (Allium ursinum) shopping list
- 1/2 - 1 cup olive oil. shopping list
How to make it
- Chop Bär Lauch in a food processor a handful at a time, drizzle in a little of the oil with each handful to assist with the pureeing.
- this pesto can be frozen , in ice cube trays, or jars, to be thawed out as needed.
- I have found this pesto great for spreading on sandwiches, pasta sauces, and soups.
