Ingredients
  • 1 lb or less of hamburger meat or Boca. This is simply for flavor.
  • Cook and drain off excess fat, there won't be any with Boca
  • Use your favorite taco seasoning to taste
  • Fresh garlic to taste
  • 1 can of pinto beans
  • 1 can black beans drained
  • 1 can pink or red beans
  • 1 can of white northern beans

Directions
  1. After you cook the hamburger or Boca burger and drain, add your favorite taco seasoning. Add all the beans. Drain some but not all of them. You may need a little water, depending on how thick you like it. Heath through.
  2. Once it's heated through and put it in a bowl, add a blob of sour cream and some cheddar cheese. Here is where I add onion. I prefer raw vegetables. You can put it over Fritos or if you like to keep them crunchy, I put them on top of the soup. Some people like to add tomatoes and olives and other such things. For this dish however, I think simpler is better. Deceptively yummy and filling.
  3. Not a beautiful dish but, not ugly either. :) You can make a nice presentation by adding lettuce, tomato, and any other vegetable you like and think goes well with taco soup.
