Ingredients

2 cups sifted Self-Rising Cake Flour

1-1/2 cups sugar

1/2 cup margarine

4 eggs

1/2 cup evaporated milk

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup raisins

1/2 cup chopped walnuts

6 to 8 apples, cored, pared & sliced

2 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions

Grease and flour 13X9X2 inch pan. Beat together Presto Self-Rising Cake Flour, sugar, margarine, eggs, milk and vanilla in large mixing bowl on medium speed until batter is light and creamy. Pour into prepared pan, sprinkle with raisins and nuts. Toss together apple, 2 tbsp sugar, lemon juice & cinnamon. Arrange over batter. Bake in 350º oven 50 to 55 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean.
