Nutty Pie Crust Recipe
This recipe is from "The Garden of Vegan" an tastes great with "Death by Chocolate" pie filling.

Ingredients
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • 1/3 cups nuts
  • 1 tbsp. dry sweetener
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • ½ tsp. salt
  • ½ cup margarine
  • 2 tbsp. vegetable shortening
  • 2 tbsp. cold water

Directions
  1. In a blender or food processor, blend the flour, nuts, sweetener, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. Add the margarine and shortening, and blend until well combined.
  3. Transfer mixture to a large bowl, and add water. Mix together until dough forms.
  4. Knead for a minute or two.
  5. Wrap the dough in wax paper and chill for 30 minutes. Roll the dough into a pie crust. Makes 1 pie crust.
