How to make it

  • oil your pan
  • finely chop the garlic while heating the pan
  • put the garlic in and bake while stirring untill light brown
  • add one glass of wine (200 ml, 0.75 cup) leave the heat on
  • grate all the cheese in a food processor
  • put the cheese in the pan
  • turn the heat off
  • add lemon juice, kirsch and cornstarch and stir well
  • let it rest for about 15 minutes, drink the rest of the wine (untill here it could be prepared a few hours in advance)
  • heat (medium heat) while stirring untill creamy
  • done!
  • during the meal more wine can be added when the fondue thickens too quickly
