This fish fillet recipe was copied from the fish and chips recipe which uses a beer batter. So, for kids to enjoy, I used milk hehehe...

Ingredients
  • Codfish or Tilapia (Filleted alread or any fish that is good for fillets would do)
  • Milk
  • Salt and Pepper
  • All purpose flour
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Tempura Crumbs (optional)
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Lemon or Lime

Directions
  1. For the fish:
  2. 1. Clean the fish fillet (Tilapia or CODfish in my case I prefer either)
  3. 2. Squeeze a good amount of lime of lemon
  4. 3. Sprinkle it wih a dash of salt an pepper
  5. For the batter:
  6. 1.Place milk in a bowl
  7. 2. Add the all purpose flour (until you reach batter thickness)
  8. 3. Make sure that there are no lumps on the batter (the strategy i use is I warm the milk first and then as I put the flour, I keep on stirring it)
  9. 4. The batter should be coating the whole fork and it should look like a pancake batter.
  10. 5. Dredge it in the Japanese Tempura crumbs
  11. 6. Fry until golden brown
  12. 7. Place them on top of paper towel to drain the excess oil
  13. 8. Put lots of Parmesan cheese on top while it's hot
  14. 9. Serve
  15. 10. ENJOY!!!
