Ingredients
  • Half cup melted butter
  • 3 tablespoons golden syrup
  • 3 tablespoons sugar (brown is best)
  • half cup sr flour
  • half cup cocoa
  • 0.5 cup sr flour
  • 1.5 cups oats
  • 1 cup cornflakes or bran flakes
  • 1 cup rice krispies
  • half cup chopped glace cherries
  • half cup raisins
  • half cup dates
  • half cup choc chips
  • half cup sunflower seeds or nuts
  • teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 0.75 cups of milk

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
  2. Melt butter in a big bowl or large saucepan.
  3. Meanwhile, in a smallish bowl, mix milk with dried fruits to be microwaved for 45secs.
  4. Add milk/raisin mix and cherries into the butter mixture.
  5. Add all the other ingredients.
  6. Stir well.
  7. Spoon onto an ungreased flat baking tray, or one with sides. Press down firmly using a spatula, and even the sides so they're straight. Cook for about 15-20 until springy in the middle.
  8. Leave to cool for 5 mins before cutting into slices and removing from tray.
