Ginnyquots Hummas With Kalamata Olives Recipe
Hummus can be used as a dip or as a spread on sandwhiches. This is much tastier than plain hummus.

Ingredients
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Zest of 1/2 lime
  • 1/4c lime or lemon juice
  • 1/4c water
  • 14oz can garbanzo beans-rinsed and drained
  • 1/4c tahini
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 12-14 Kalamata olives

Directions
  1. Place garlic,lime zest,lime juice,salt and water in a food processor and pulse 15 times.
  2. Scrape down the sides.
  3. Add garbanzo beans and tahini. Pulse 15 times then process for 30 seconds.
  4. Add olives and pulse just until chopped-- about 12 times.
  5. This keeps in the frig for over a week but is usually eaten within a few days it our house.
