How to make it

  • Chop the collards into thin strips
  • Chop the peppers, garlic, and onion
  • Drain the beans.
  • Lightly coat a large pasta pot with butter and add greens. They probably won't all fit at first, so just keep adding more as they cook down. Stir.
  • Add onions and garlic. Stir. Make sure the greens are starting to get soft before moving on to the next step.
  • Add peppers and beans. Stir.
  • Add black pepper, cayenne, and salt according to taste, although I recommend making black pepper the most pronounced of the three. Stir.
