Ingredients
  • garlic bulbs 4
  • olive oil
  • thyme
  • salt an pepper

Directions
  1. remove outter leaves of garlic
  2. cut off top of bulb
  3. drizzle oil on to bulb
  4. sprinkle with tyme
  5. salt pepper
  6. put in small bread pan
  7. cover with tin foil
  8. put in cold oven bake 300 degrees for 30 minutes
  9. remove foil bake 45 minutes or until garlic is tender husks are brown
  10. baste occasionally with oil
  11. when roasted garlic takes on a nutty flavor can be served whole or squeezed out of bulb onto bread or add to salad and sauces
  12. or it sits on a ritz
