Pickled Shrimp

- 2 1/2 lbs shrimp shopping list
- celery tops shopping list
- 2 T salt shopping list
- 2 C thinly sliced onion shopping list
- 7 bay leaves shopping list
- 1 1/4 C salad oil shopping list
- 3/4 C white vinegar shopping list
- 2 t salt shopping list
- 2 1/2 t celery seed shopping list
- 2 1/2 t capers and juice shopping list
- 1/8 t hot sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Cook shrimp for 3 to 5 minutes in boiling water with celery tops and salt.
- Peel and devein.
- Alternate cooked shrimp and sliced onions in shallow baking dish. Add bay leaves.
- Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over shrimp.
- Cover and store in fridge.
- Let marinade 24 hours.
