How to make it

  • Place diced potatoes and chopped onion in stew pot
  • Add water, just to cover potatoes
  • Add oregano and butter
  • Bring to a boil
  • Add chicken right as potatoes are coming to a rolling boil
  • When potatoes are almost done, add can milk and regular milk
  • **may take more or less regular milk depending on pot size**
  • Allow to simmer to get milk hot, but don't allow to boil once milk has been added
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ***serve with crackers and mini sweet gerkin pickles***
