This is a traditional lithuanian sauce for hot boiled potatoes and that is was just a discovery in our familly

Ingredients
  • fresh mint leaves, finely chopped -2 spoons,
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 onion-finely chopped
  • 2 spoons of butter
  • 1 spoon of flour

Directions
  1. wash and chop fresh mint leaves
  2. chop one onion and fry it on the melted butter a bit till it becomes tender
  3. pour a cup of milk into the onions and let it boil
  4. add the mint leaves
  5. dissolve the flour in some cold water and gently add to the milk
  6. especially tender with hot unpeeled potatoes -enjoy :-)
