Javanese Fried Noodle Recipe

Ingredients
  • 150 grams dried noodle, blanch with hot water and drain.
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 150 grams beef, boiled and cut 1 cm cubes.
  • 100 grams shrimps, shelled
  • 150 cc stock
  • 3 tbsp sweet soy sauce
  • 2 cabbage leaves, cut into 1/2 cm pieces
  • 2 tbsp fried shallots
  • 100 grams bean sprouts
  • 2 spring onions, finely sliced
  • 1/2 tomato, sliced.
  • 3 candlenuts, ground
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Directions
  1. Saute candlenut, garlic, pepper and salt in oil until brown, then add beef and shrimps.
  2. Stir until shrimps change colour, then pour in the stock. Bring to boil, and add sweet soy sauce, cabbage, tomato, noodles and spring onions.
  3. Add bean sprouts and mix well.
  4. Continue cooking until the stock is completely absorbed.
  5. Sprinkle with fried shallots.
  6. Enjoy. ;)
