Ingredients
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1/2 c. cocoa
  • 1 c. milk
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 c. flour (sifted before measurning)
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

Directions
  1. Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder together three times.
  2. Cream butter and sugar and eggs (one at a time).
  3. Then add flour mixture alternately with milk.
  4. Bake in tube pan, 325, 1 hour, 20 minutes.

  7. It make take a little longer. I use wax paper fitted in bottom of tube pan. My husband's favorite cake.
