Frozen Pumpkin Pie Recipe
My 11 year old daughter made this for our Thanks Giving dessert this year. It was beautiful and delicious. It is a nice light dessert for after a heavy Turkey dinner.

Ingredients
  • 9” baked graham cracker crust
  • 1 c. fresh cooked pumpkin (or canned pumpkin)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • ½ t. salt
  • ½ t. ginger
  • ¼ t. nutmeg
  • ½ c. chopped pecans
  • 1 c. whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 pt. vanilla ice-cream

Directions
  1. Mix pumpkin, sugar, salt, spices and pecans. Fold into whipped cream. Place scoops of ice-cream in pie shell and pour pumpkin mixture over ice-cream. Freeze at least 2 hours. Garnish with additional whipped cream.
