Goes perfectly with caesar salad and dipping bread (in the sauce of chicken pie)

Ingredients
  • butter
  • flour
  • milk
  • crushed garlic
  • coarse black pepper
  • half teaspoon chilli paste
  • 800 grams cooked chicken
  • capsicum
  • onion
  • four hard boiled eggs
  • puff pastry

Directions
  1. Make a white sauce with first three ingredients
  2. add garlic, chilli paste and black pepper
  3. Saute capsicum, onion (chopped finely)
  4. mix capsicum, onion and chicken in white sauce
  5. place in pie dish
  6. slice hard boiled eggs and place on top
  7. place pastry on top
  8. brush pastry with milk or egg yolk
  9. bake 1 hour in 180 degree C oven.
  10. Can add diced ham or bacon and cream for variety
