This is the green food paint version that goes along with my other "Food Paints" post

Ingredients
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 tsp. fresh lime juice
  • 2 T. red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp. honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c. olive oil
  • 2 spinach leaves (optional)

Directions
  1. In blender, combine avocado, lime juice, vinegar, water, honey, and salt and pepper and mix on high.
  2. Slowly add olive oil. The oil should emulsify so it won't separate later from the other ingredients.
  3. To make the green color darker, you can add spinach leaves.
  4. Pour into condiment bottle (available at grocery store).
  5. If mix is too thick, add more water. If too thin, add more olive oil.
  6. Decoratively drizzle onto hors d'oeuvres platter and over your appetizers
  7. Great for holiday parties!
