This is an excellant choice to give to friends during the Christmas Season

Ingredients
  • 3 Cups Walnut Halves
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Salt
  • 5 Tablespoons Water
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla

Directions
  1. Spread the Walnuts on a cookie sheet and bake in 300 degree oven for 8 Minutes.
  2. Mix together sugar, cinnamon, salt and water.
  3. Boil the mixture until soft ball stage (240 degrees) and add 1 Teaspoon Vanilla.
  4. Add mixture to walnut halves and turn out of cookie sheet.
  5. Seperate at once as they harden fast.
