Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon Shortening
  • 2 Pounds Stew meat
  • 1/2 Tsp salt
  • 2 cups canned tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 chup chopped onion
  • 1/2 bay leaf

Directions
  1. Melt Shortening
  2. Brown meat
  3. Add salt, tomatoes, brown sugar, vinegar, onion and bay leaf and cover skillet.
  4. Lower Heat and let simmer for two hours
  5. serve over rice or noodles.
