- 1 LB. broccoli AND cauliflower, CHOPPED, FRESH OR FROZEN shopping list
- 1 CARTON chicken OR vegetable broth shopping list
- 1 CAN diced tomatoes WITH GREEN CHILES shopping list
- 1 TBSP. MINCED onion shopping list
- 1 TBSP. MINCED garlic shopping list
- 4 OZ. cream cheese,CUBED shopping list
- 2 OZ. Velveeta cheese shopping list
- salt & pepper TO TASTE shopping list
- hot sauce (OPTIONAL) shopping list
How to make it
- PLACE VEGGIES, TOMATOES, BROTH, ONION AND GARLIC IN A LARGE POT. BRING TO A BOIL AND REDUCE TO SIMMER FOR 30-40 MINUTES UNTIL VEGGIES ARE VERY TENDER.
- MASH VEGGIES UNTIL DESIRED CONSISTENCY. ADD CHEESES AND STIR UNTIL MELTED.
- ADD SALT, PEPPER, AND HOT SAUCE TO YOUR TASTE!
- IF YOU LIKE YOURS A ‘LIL THICKER, ADD 1-2 TBSP. FLOUR, CORNSTARCH OR MESA FLOUR WITH WATER UNTIL A LIQUID AND SLOWLY STIR IN SOUP UNTIL THICKENED*
