How to make it

  • Cut the chicken into manageable sizes, season and boil
  • Fry chicken
  • Cut onions and other vegetables
  • Mix tomatoe with a little water if paste
  • Put sauce pan on fire and add oil
  • Fry onions for two minutes
  • Add two teaspoons of chile pepper
  • Stir and allow to cook for three minutes
  • Add tomato paste and stir over low heat
  • Allow to boil until the oil begins to show on the surface
  • Add vegetables, salt to taste and other spices
  • Add fried chicken
  • Allow to cook into a thick stew
  • Take all the pieces of chicken and some stew
  • Add rice to stew and mix
  • Add enough water to get rice cooked
  • Allow to cook over low heat and stir occassionally until rice tenderizes
  • Jellof rice is ready
  • Serve with stew and chicken already taken
  • Add already prepared salad or spagetti
