Oven Baked Cheesy Spaghetti

- 10 oz penne rigate noodles shopping list
- basil to taste shopping list
- oregano to taste shopping list
- garlic to taste shopping list
- kosher salt a pinch shopping list
- Coarse ground pepper to taste shopping list
- 1 lb hamburger shopping list
- 1lb italian sausage shopping list
- 1lb of shredded cheese of choice shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- 1 ½ jars of your choice spaghetti sauce shopping list
How to make it
- To start cook up the pork and hamburger until brown.
- add in basil, oregano, garlic, salt and pepper about half way though the browning process.
- Stir though out the browning/cooking progress.
- I would suggest starting the noodles around the same time as you start the meat.
- Bring water to boil and throw in the noodles for about 15 mins. or so or until soft.
- Drain and rinse.
- After noodles are rinsed bathe lightly with olive oil and stir in some more basil.
- Next, in a casserole dish, spread out a thin layer of spaghetti sauce on the bottom of the dish.
- sprinkle a thin layer of cheese on top of the sauce, followed by some of the meat.
- topped evenly with half of the noodles, and some more of the sauce.
- For the next layer repeat the above but go with half of the meat that’s left and half the cheese and the rest of the noodles
- For the top layer
- The rest of the meat followed by sauce toped with the remainder of the cheese.
- Place in 375 degree oven for about 20 mins, may want to place dish on cookie sheet so no spills haapen. Take out of oven and let rest for about 5 mins then enjoy.
