Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe
This appetizer is a hit for any holiday party. Goes well with all your standard holiday dishes. Everyone loves it!

Ingredients
  • 20 large fresh mushrooms
  • 8 ounces sweet Italian sausage
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons + 1 teaspoon olive oil, divided
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions
  1. Wash mushrooms well. Remove stems and chop finely.
  2. Place sausage in skillet with chopped mushroom stems,
  3. garlic, and 1 tablespoon of the oil.
  4. Cook, breaking up sausage, until browned.
  5. Add 1 teaspoon of oil, parsley and the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Fill mushrooms with sausage mixture and put in shallow baking pan.
  7. Sprinkle small amount of Parmesan cheese on stuff mushrooms.
  8. Pour 1/4 cup water and remaining tablespoon of oil into bottom of the pan.
  9. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
