How to make it

  • Melt butter in a skillet and saute onion, celery, and parsley until onions are translucent.
  • Pour over bread cubes in a very large mixing bowl. Mix well.
  • Add seasonings. Mix well.
  • Add half of the broth to moisten. Mix well.
  • Add eggs. Mix well.
  • Add broth until mixture is moistened through, but not overly soggy.
  • Pack lightly into 2 loaf pans.
  • Put into the oven for approx 1 hour at 325-350 degrees F. Bake until top is browned.
