This recipe was found inside the carton of Organic Valley Butter. This is really a great tasting enhancement for not only seafood, chicken and vegetables, but is also wonderful on breads and rolls.

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup Organic Valley Salted Butter, room temperature (or substitute an equivalent butter)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 teaspoon honey Dijon mustard
  • Ground white pepper to taste

Directions
  1. In a small mixing bowl, cream together the butter, chives, basil, parsley and mustard
  2. Add pepper to taste
  3. Cover the bowl and allow the spread to stand in a cool place for about 1 hour so the flavors can mingle
  4. Mix again
  5. Place spread on wax paper or parchment paper and form into a log
  6. Twist ends of paper to seal and store in refrigerator (or freezer if not using soon)
  7. Cut portions from log as needed
