We all love these for breakfast! It makes a nice twist from eggs and toast. Serve with a side of bacon for a complete breakfast.

Ingredients
  • Slice of bread
  • 1 egg
  • Butter

Directions
  1. Cut a 1 1/2” to2” square in the center of the bread, being careful not to break the bread and crust around the square.
  2. Put the bread with the hole in the middle on a hot buttered skillet, crack an egg and pour the raw egg into the hole.
  3. Put the bread square somewhere else on the hot buttered skillet.
  4. Cook until the egg is firm and flip the egg and bread (bird in nest).
  5. Also flip the bread square.
  6. Finish cooking the other side and serve. The kids love this!
