- udon noodles (These usually come in sealed packets. We used two packets and it made enough for 2-4 helpings.) shopping list
- pork (or beef or tofu) shopping list
- sugar snap peas shopping list
- julienne carrots shopping list
- broccoli florets shopping list
- yellow sweet pepper strips shopping list
- water chestnuts shopping list
- garlic paste shopping list
- ginger paste shopping list
- Aji-mirin sauce (rice wine) shopping list
- Tonkatsu Sauce shopping list
- soy sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Boil your udon noodles (7/8 minutes or until cooked)
- Prep your veggies into a blend (how many veggies you add is up to you)
- Cut your meat (or tofu) into small squares
- Prepare your wok or deep pan with oil
- Fry veggie and pork blend for 5 minutes or until meat is cooked (pork must be all white)
- Add 1/2 teaspoon of ginger paste
- Add 1/2 teaspoon garlic paste
- Fry together for about another minute or two
- Add your drained udon noodles
- Add 2 tables spoons of Mirin
- And add at least 2 tablespoons of Tonkatsu sauce, if not more. (This is to taste.)
- Serve with soy-sauce (to taste)
- Enjoy!
