Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb pasta( rigatoni works best)
  • 1/2 bottle alfredo sauce( or any white sauce........12oz)
  • 1 Can of 6oz tuna(light chunk, you can add one more can if you really like tuna)
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach(thawed)
  • 1/4 cup green peas
  • 3 sun dried tomatoes chopped thinly
  • 1/2 cup wine(white or dry marsala)
  • 1TBSP olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 red onion thinly sliced
  • salt
  • pepper
  • red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp italian herbs

Directions
  1. bring a pot of water to a rolling boil. italians say that the water you cook your pasta in must taste like the sea.....sooo add salt, enough to make your water salty.
  2. add your pasta and cook as suggested on packet
  3. meanwhile, bring a nonstick pan to med-high heat, add the olive oil, add garlic and saute for a few seconds.
  4. add the red onions and saute for another minute
  5. add tuna, and saute
  6. add peas, spinach and sun dried tomatoes, allow most of the liquid to evaporate
  7. add the wine to deglaze the bottom of the pan.
  8. to the alfredo sauce add a little bit of water, maybe 1/2 cup to thin out he sauce and add that to the pan. stir everything to mix well.
  9. drain your pasta, wash it thouroughly(it will be very salty), add tot he sauce and mix to coat everything well.
  10. add pepper and salt to taste, add the herbs and red pepper flakes
  11. serve piping hot with some crusty bread.........yummy!
  12. you can add more sauce if you like more sauce, just think it out a little bit
