How to make it

  • In two separate sauce pans:
  • Pan 1: Heat oysters and their liquid for about 5 minutes, until edges of oysters curl.
  • Pan 2: Heat milk until very hot (stir often) add butter and onion to milk when hot.
  • Combine oysters and liquid with the milk mixture.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Recipe can be halved or doubled.
