Favorite Chili Verde

- 2 lbs. pork stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes shopping list
- 2 TBLS cooking oil shopping list
- 1 cup green bell pepper, finely chopped shopping list
- 4 green onions, sliced shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 2 jars (12oz) green chili salsa shopping list
- 1 can (13 oz) Tomatilla Entero shopping list
- Hot cooked rice shopping list
How to make it
- Place meat in Dutch oven with water to cover.
- Bring to boiling: reduce heat.
- Simmer, covered, 1 hour.
- Cool; drain.
- In same pan heat oil.
- Brown meat on all sides.
- Add bell pepper, onion, and garlic; cook until tender.
- Stir in Salsa and Tomatillos; cover and simmer 30 minutes.
- Serve over hot rice or with flour torillas.
