Dads Chili Recipe
This is an easy chili dish that does not take all that long to prepare and always has people asking for more. the longer you simmer with the dried chilies and the type of chili you use will determine the heat factor

Ingredients
  • 1 lb Pink Kidney Beans
  • 2 Tbl Butter
  • 1 LG Onion
  • 2 ½ lbs Ground Beef
  • 2 Garlic Clove
  • 2 Tsp Ground Cumin
  • 2 Tbl Ground Sage
  • Pinch of Ground Ginger
  • 1 Tbl Chili Powder
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • ½ Pepper
  • 6 Dried Chili Peppers
  • 2, 8oz can’s Tomato Sauce
  • 1, 1 lb 12oz Canned Whole Tomatoes ( Hunts)

Directions
  1. Cook dried Beans as directed on bag or use canned Kidney Beans
  2. Brown Beef till done with butter
  3. Add pressed garlic
  4. Transfer beef mixture to large pot
  5. Add Tomato sauce, stir
  6. Add all remaining spices, but the dried chiles
  7. Cut up whole tomato’s and add to pot juice and all, STIR
  8. Add Beans if using the canned beans make sure you rinse them well then add to pot.
  9. Add Dried chiles, stir, Cover pot and simmer three hours stirring every 10- 15 min..... ENJOY
  10. Serve with any of the following Cheese , Onion, Rice, Noddles, mix with an omelet ...
