Spanish Rice

- 3 tbp. cilantro shopping list
- 1/2 onion shopping list
- 3 garlic cloves shopping list
- 1 cup of oil shopping list
- 1/2 green pepper shopping list
- 3 tbp of salt shopping list
- 2 pcks of sazon goya shopping list
- 1/2 can of tomato sauce shopping list
- 6 cups of water shopping list
- 3 cups of long grain rice shopping list
How to make it
- On a blender, put the Cilantro, onion, garlic, and pepper with 2 tbp. of water, mix till is green and smooth, put it in a butter bowl, take a tsp. of it and put it in a heavy cooking pan on a high heat, add the oil,salt, sazon, and let it fry for 2 min. add the tomato sauce and let it steam for 1 min. add the water and let it boil, once the water boils add the rice, stir and lower heat on a medium high , let the rice absorbed the water , stir and lower the heat to a simmer and cover with a thigt fitting lid for 20 min. or until rice is tender, and serve.
- The rest of the green stuff witch we call sofrito can be save on a frige for nex time
