Ingredients

How to make it

  • Wash the rice, and soak in 2 cups boiled water for an hour
  • Put the rice and water on fire, once water is boiling lower the heat and leave for about 7 mins
  • Now add the milk and keep stirring for half an hour
  • Add sugar and the corn starch and KEEP STIRRING for 10 more mins
  • You can now add the mistkeh but it has to be squashed
  • After the mixture is thick enough you can add the flower water and remove it all from the fire
  • While still hot, pour in small cups and refrigerate
  • Egyptians add fresh cream and honey and that just makes it YUMMIE :D

    Hey Nanarooski,
    Ive noticed you live in the US, you have to look for an Arabic, Greek, maybe Iranian place and ask for MASTIC. This is little information I found about it:
