- 1 1/2 lb. large stems removed watercress shopping list
- 1/4 c. of whipped heavy cream (optional) shopping list
- 1/2 c. of watercress leaves for garnish shopping list
- 1 peeled and cubed potato shopping list
- 1 chopped onion shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. of salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. of ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 1/2 c. of chicken stock shopping list
- 2 1/2 c. of milk shopping list
- 2 tsp. of vegetable oil shopping list
- 1 peeled and cubed potato shopping list
How to make it
- First you want to add some oil to your pan over medium flame.
- Next you will add potatoe and onion, letting this saute for a few minutes.
- Add some salt and pepper for seasoning.
- Move your flame to low for approx. 5 min.
- Stir in your chicken stock and milk, letting this come to a boil.
- Add the watercress, uncovered for approx. 5 min. until watercress is cooked.
- Now you will add to your blender and puree until creamy.
- Once heated, ladle in bowls.
- For extra emphasis, add a dollap of whipped cream.
- Enjoy!
