This is a great way to cook sauerkraut. Very flavorful. From Redbook.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. sauerkraut
  • 6 oz. beer
  • 2 Tbs sugar
  • 1 tsp chili powder

Directions
  1. In medium sauce pan,heat sauerkraut,beer,sugar and chili powder over medium heat to boiling Reduce heat to low and simmer 20 mins. to let flavors blend. Makes 3 cups.
