Old Fashioned Meat Loaf Recipe
This dish is a 1950's version with a distinctly American taste. Great with Corn, salad and rice or mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
  • 1-1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 lbs ground pork sausage (unseasoned)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup bread crumbs finely crushed
  • 6 oz tomato pasted with divided use
  • 6 oz tomato sauce with divided use
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 garlic clove pressed clove
  • 1/4 cup green bell pepper minced
  • 1/2 cup sweet onion minced
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1-2 Tsp black pepper ground
  • 1 Tsp sea salt
  • 1 pkg dry onion soup mix

Directions
  1. Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
  2. Combine beef, pork, eggs bread crumbs and 1/2 of both the tomato sauce and paste. Be gentle or your loaf with become tough.
  3. Add milk, garlic, green bell pepper, sweet onion, Worcestershire, black pepper, sea salt and soup mix.
  4. Place in baking dish and form into loaf
  5. Bake 70 Minutes
  6. Cool 20 minutes before cutting
  7. Yield: 6-8 Servings
  8. Also good for cold or hot sandwhiches the next day
