How to make it

  • Peel the squash and cut into ¾ in cubes, slice the carrots into ½ in slice’s
  • In a lg skillet over med heat ,warm butter.with oil Add the squash and carrots
  • And sprinkle with the sugar-stir well and cook until veg start to get soft.about 8 to 10 min
  • Stirring often.
  • Add the wine and cook another 5 mins, add the parsely and salt & pepper to taste, serve ‘ 4 – if the veggies are not done and its dry in pan - add water till they are cooked

    What a lovely squash recipe. The season is fast approaching for all my favorite winter squashes. I noticed the butternuts in the market this weekend. Thanks for this lovely post.
