Bruschetta Pizza

- 1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage shopping list
- 1 prebaked Italian bread shell crust shopping list
- 1 (6 oz) pkg sliced turkey pepperoni shopping list
- 2 C. shredded mozzarella cheese shopping list
- 1 1/2 C. chopped plum tomatoes shopping list
- 1/2 C. fresh basil leaves thinly sliced shopping list
- 1 T. olive oil shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves minced shopping list
- 1/2 t. minced fresh thyme or 1/8 t. dried thyme shopping list
- 1/2 t. balsamic vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 t. salt shopping list
- 1/8 t. pepper shopping list
- additional fresh basil leaves, optional shopping list
How to make it
- In a small skillet cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain. Place crust on an ungreased baking sheet. Top with pepperoni, sausage and cheese. Bake at 450 for 10-12 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- In a small bowl combine the tomtatoes, sliced basil, oil, garlic, thyme, vinegar, salt and pepper. Spoon over the pizza. Garnish with additional basil if desired.
